Last week was one of the worst weeks for the Hamsons. Erin, Bohdan, Logan & I were all sick. I'm pretty sure that we all got sick from one of the kids. At work today, Jen the nurse told me that the average child gets sick 10 times a year, and the average adult gets sick 4 times a year. So assuming that all parents get their kids' illnesses, parents can expect to be sick 14 times a year. Between the 4 of us, we got 6 perscriptions. Erin was the last one to go to the doctor and she had early stages of pneumonia. yikes! All I know is that my head had so much pressure it felt like it was going to explode at any given time. And then when I would sneeze or cough, it would make something that already felt terrible, feel worse. And something that we quickly learned was that parents don't really get time just to relax and get better, cause there's a couple little ones that can't really take care of themselves. But luckily we are better now and the weather is getting warmer which is a wonderful thing. Can't wait to get the flip flops out of the closet once again.
